07 December 2011 Long-term CMLG clients City TV
Broadcasting Ltd are holding new year briefings on City TV
and their ambitions for local television in Birmingham. The
events will take place on Monday 9th and Thursday 12th
January 2012 at the Birmingham offices of Wragge & Co,
commencing at 5.30pm. The briefings will allow people in
the Birmingham business community to learn about and
discuss the Local Television Framework, the benefits to
Birmingham and how they can get involved in programming.
Spaces are limited so interested parties should please email
debradavis@citytvbroadcasting.co.uk specifying their
preferred date.
25 November 2011 In line with our intention to expand our
business and profile in the South West of England, CMLG
attended the third annual Music South West industry forum
in Exeter on 25th November. Speakers at the excellent
event, run by the BMF, included Ed O'Brien from Radiohead,
Jonny Dawson of ATC Management, Alan Bearman of
Sidmouth Folk Week and Alex Gallagher of Folk Radio UK.
20 October 2011 CMLG co-host the launch of Cornwall
Street Chambers' latest exhibition tonight, featuring original
works by Midlands artist Sara Huxley-Edwards.
10 October 2011 CMLG's Nashville-based alt-country duo
Travis+Julie return to the UK this week to promote their
latest single and the album "Moon Girl". See more at

01 September 2011 Cloud Computing - Legal Analysis
Research conducted by Simon Bradshaw, Chambers'
specialist Civil and Media Law pupil, has been published in a
number of journals recently. Together with Professor
Christopher Millard and Professor Ian Walden at Queen
Mary, University of London, Simon analysed the terms of
service of cloud computing providers. Further details of the

5 July 2011 CMLG's Bruce Drummond appeared on BBC
Radio today to provide an expert legal view on the
consequences of the 'phone tapping allegedly undertaken on
behalf of the News Of The World. Bruce was the guest of
Danny Kelly on his BBC Radio WM afternoon show.
13 June 2011 American CMLG clients, Travis + Julie,
release their debut UK single, "Osmosis", today, as a taster
for forthcoming album, "Moon Girl".

20 May 2011 The CMLG team are looking forward to the
Acoustic Festival of Britain which runs for 3 days from today
at Uttoxeter racecourse and will see the first UK festival

11 January 2011: CMLG wish to congratulate former
NYPD Deputy Inspector Glen Morisano on the US
publication of his first book "Good Cop, Bad Money" through
First One Publishing and look forward to working with him in
the UK in 2011.
7 January 2011: CMLG are delighted to kick off the new
year with the exciting addition of indie-rockers The Kayas to

13 December 2010: The final addition of the year to
CMLG's growing roster of emerging artists is Reverie, a
Birmingham-based guitar band featuring talented cousins
Aaron and Adam. The band are already attracting interest
from publishers in the UK and the USA and are looking
forward to an exciting 2011.
11 November 2010: CMLG and Cornwall Street Chambers
are pleased to present an exhibition of selected work by the
artist Carolyn Blake. Sense of Place/Sense of Space sets
about looking for new ways of rendering the everyday

8 November 2010: We're delighted to announce the
appointment of CMLG as UK legal representatives for
Travis+Julie, a pop/alt-country duo from Nashville, TN. The
duo are currently promoting their fabulous second album

21 August 2010: CMLG's Bruce Drummond and his band
The Loosehounds will be supporting punk legends The
Stranglers on the main stage at this year's Wyeside Festival

6 August 2010: Nick and Bruce are delighted to be
representing Southport's finest young indie rockers The
Smitten Ones. The band are scheduled to record their debut

15th July 2010: CMLG are proud to announce a strategic
alliance with New York attorneys, Altchiler LLC, whose team
of elite professionals is now available to assist our clients in
protecting and expanding their interests in the United States
of America.
27th June: CMLG head honcho Bruce Drummond
appeared on BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC Radio Stoke and
BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester today. Bruce was
interviewed live on air by Genevieve Tudor, discussing his
media & entertainment law work with CMLG and his role as
lead guitarist with popular festival band The Loosehounds.
Tracks from their forthcoming third album "Then Suddenly"
were aired on the show.

19th April 2010: Charity Success: Chambers recently took
part in the Thrive Strip Amnesty, collecting unwanted football
kit for children in South Africa. The charity recently sent over
the first batch of 6,500 items and reported that the corporate
sector was responsible for gathering almost 3,000 shirts.

12 April 2010: CMLG favourites Officer Kicks release their
long-awaited second album today on We Make Things
Records. The follow-up to 2008's "The Six Grand Plot",
"Citywide Curfew" is now available on CD or on download
via iTunes, Amazon and 7Digital.
1 April 2010: Significant changes were announced today
as the Legal Services Board approved three applications,
submitted by the Bar Standards Board, that change or relax
provisions in the Code of Conduct relating to barristers’
working practices, particularly those, like members of CMLG,
who work on a direct/public access basis. Read more..
8 March 2010: London rockers Officer Kicks release their
brand new single "Automatic" today on We Make Things
Records. The song is already a favourite on Sky Sports
Soccer AM and is available to download via iTunes here.
You can watch the video here. Their second album
"Citywide Curfew" is slated for an April release.
6 March 2010: CMLG's own Bruce Drummond took the
stage with The Loosehounds on 6th March at The Butter
Market in Shrewsbury. Also featuring a live performance by
The Climax Blues Band, the event raised money for the Haiti
Disaster Fund.
