21 August 2010: CMLG's Bruce Drummond and his band
The Loosehounds will be supporting punk legends The
Stranglers on the main stage at this year's Wyeside Festival

6 August 2010: Nick and Bruce are delighted to be
representing Southport's finest young indie rockers The
Smitten Ones. The band are scheduled to record their
debut single in September with producer Tim G (Sonic
Boom Six, Random Hand) before heading out on the road.

4 August 2010: Members of the team enjoyed a great night
out at Mechu nightclub in Birmingham for the official VIP
launch of the new Demo Me recording studio being run by
talented sound engineer Nick Thomas and former Atomic

15th July 2010: CMLG are proud to announce a strategic
alliance with New York attorneys, Altchiler LLC, whose team
of elite professionals is now available to assist our clients in
protecting and expanding their interests in the United States
of America.
27th June: CMLG head honcho Bruce Drummond
appeared on BBC Radio Shropshire, BBC Radio Stoke and
BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester today. Bruce was
interviewed live on air by Genevieve Tudor, discussing his
media & entertainment law work with CMLG and his role as
lead guitarist with popular festival band The Loosehounds.
Tracks from their forthcoming third album "Then Suddenly"
were aired on the show.

19th April 2010: Charity Success: Chambers recently took
part in the Thrive Strip Amnesty, collecting unwanted football
kit for children in South Africa. The charity recently sent
over the first batch of 6,500 items and reported that the
corporate sector was responsible for gathering almost 3,000
shirts. Thanks to all of our clients, staff & members who
contributed.
12 April 2010: CMLG favourites Officer Kicks release their
long-awaited second album today on We Make Things
Records. The follow-up to 2008's "The Six Grand Plot",
"Citywide Curfew" is now available on CD or on download
via iTunes, Amazon and 7Digital.
1 April 2010: Significant changes were announced today
as the Legal Services Board approved three applications,
submitted by the Bar Standards Board, that change or relax
provisions in the Code of Conduct relating to barristers’
working practices, particularly those, like members of
CMLG, who work on a direct/public access basis. Read

8 March 2010: London rockers Officer Kicks release their
brand new single "Automatic" today on We Make Things
Records. The song is already a favourite on Sky Sports
Soccer AM and is available to download via iTunes here.
You can watch the video here. Their second album
"Citywide Curfew" is slated for an April release.
6 March 2010: CMLG's own Bruce Drummond took the
stage with The Loosehounds on 6th March at The Butter
Market in Shrewsbury. Also featuring a live performance by
The Climax Blues Band, the event raised money for the Haiti
Disaster Fund.
29 January 2010: CMLG are proud to be assisting the
charity Thrive with their Strip Amnesty by collecting
"redundant" replica football shirts which will then be cleaned,
packaged and shipped to South Africa for distribution to
underprivileged kids during the World Cup next year.

29th January 2010.
18 December 2009: CMLG is delighted to be sponsoring

Cafe, co-hosted by Joanna Geary of The Times newspaper.

industry showcase in London tonight at the famous Hope
and Anchor, where punk legends such as The Stranglers
made their name.
1 October 2009: CMLG barrister Robert Askey is now back
in the UK after his four-month road trip across the USA.
13 September 2009: CMLG Team Manager Owain
attended the Le Mans Series endurance race day at
Silverstone courtesy of 11th Hour Artists and Karim Aljani of
Oak Racing.
24 August 2009: CMLG are delighted to be co-hosting a
solo autumn exhibition at Cornwall Street by artist Richard
Corbett from 14th September to 11th December 2009. A
private viewing will be held on the evening of 23rd

15 July 2009: CMLG barrister Jamie McCracken recently
appeared before the Master of the Rolls in the Court of
Appeal in a significant case about the liability of website
owners for misleading information posted on their website.
